Hello!
We’re John and Anna Adams. We are multi-generational farmers, raised in Southern Ohio. We started our business, formally J&A Gardens, in 2018 when Anna spearheaded the formation of the Adams County Farmers Market. What started as produce and baked goods, has turned into something we could have never imagined. We currently offer beef, pork, chicken, eggs, tallow products, jams & jellies, and more- all grown and produced right here in Adams County. Join us on our journey as we continue to produce fresh, quality items for our friends, neighbors, and beyond.
What we offer
Quality Meats
All of our meat is raised right here in Lynx, Ohio. We raise beef, pork, and chicken, You can find our beef and pork at the Adams County Farmers Market during the summer or by appointment for farm pickup. Whole chickens are sold on farm only. Chicken and duck eggs are available.
Fresh Produce
You can find in season produce that is grown right on our farm. We have a wide variety each year but you can typically find greens, melons, radishes, garlic, onions, potatoes, and more. Social media is the best way to find our what we have in season!
Tallow Products
Using local beef fat, either from our beef or our neighbors, we render it down to make beautiful tallow. From there, we make soaps, shampoo bars, lotions, and lip balms!
Delicious Preserves
We offer seasonal preserves as well! You can typically find blackberry jam, strawberry lemon marmalade, blueberry lime jam, grape jelly, and more in our farm stand or at the market! We also have seasonal preserves including apple and plum butter!
